Sometimes the identity of Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD) or one of its subsidiaries can be used fraudulently in business proposals or opportunities (Fake Propositions). The Fake Propositions may include the use of a false identity of Invest AD (e.g. company name, trade name, logo, branding, tag line, contract forms, marketing material, address or other details).

The fraudster may pose as a representative of Invest AD and/or one of its subsidiaries (Invest AD Group) or fraudulently represent themselves as an employee of Invest AD or a member of the Invest AD Group. They may pretend that they are offering an opportunity to contract with an Invest AD Group company in connection with a business opportunity. Often (not always) the fraud involves requesting you to pay money to them in order to participate in such opportunity.

Invest AD will never ask for money from a third party in order for that third party to participate or be considered for a business opportunity. Additionally, Invest AD does not solicit investments from the general public in any way.

Invest AD officials do not communicate via generic email addresses such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc., nor does it communicate via social media platforms for business matters (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram etc.). All communications will always originate from a verifiable Invest AD e-mail address (domains of @investad.com) and not from any free web based email accounts or social media platform. Always independently verify the legitimacy of any business or investment opportunity before you take any decision.
